): i just read this news article about Euthanasia. Well, I remembered in AJ, we spent almost two weeks discussing about this for GP. Personally, i am really really against Euthanasia. I dont really care about the pros of Euthanasia like the case of having a "dignified" death, it just doesnt sound right to me! There are so many people in the world who are fighting to live despite all the pain and sufferings yet there are a few who just want to give up. I certainly dont buy those stories like, "i'm an athlete, i'm paralysed and i've nothing to look forward in life now, please end my miserable life". WHYWHYWHY? Yes it is sad that you wont be able to enjoy what you love to do anymore, but life is not just about that, isnt it? So how can that actually be a rational decision!! It might just be a mental condition because of all the depressing thoughts and rahh... Instead of giving them the right to end their life, why cant we assist them by giving them hope to live again. rahh, i'm special.
